For those of you who think narcissism is some kind of round-the-houses way to describe a person who is sick, this one’s for you.
Technically, being a narcissist means you are living with a personality disorder of some kind.
But there is a level of complicity involved with every narcissist, who could look to seek help for their toxic traits – and refuse.
Instead, they carry on ruining lives.
So, are they truly sick, or are they actually evil?
I’ll walk you through it.

Define “sick”
Being sick is not intentional. Nobody wants to get the flu. Nobody wants to get cancer.
Nobody wants to need to go to the hospital. We ll want to be well, and although that may not always work out for us all, it’s our wish, isn’t it?
Stay well to be well.
Our bodies are not machines, although they are even more complex than them.
Things go wrong, and we find ourselves needing to rest from time to time when we feel unwell.
Defining ‘sick’ is exactly that.
So ask yourself this:
Is narcissism the same as being sick?
It is not.
Narcissism is pure evil, and I will gladly help you understand that in as much detail as I can.
Nothing could be more evil than…

- Feeding on your suffering
- Watching you break down with a smile on their toxic faces
- Gladly breaking up families
- Lying to people every single day
- Treating you like scum
Are you telling me these are the actions of somebody who is sick?
Narcissists only find their purpose in ruining the lives of others, and this is done on purpose, with truly devastating consequences.
They don’t just lie, they live off the notion that lying is the only way for them to be able to get what they want.
Their lies are the glue that holds the game of narcissism together.
I think about what evil means, and I think it’s long been associated with perpetrators of true crime, or instigators of war and suffering all over the world.
But we never really look at the friendly neighbor across the street. We don’t look at our partners who control our every move.
We don’t look at that toxic coworker who wants all the glory but who steals all your ideas.
Evil walks among us in the form of narcissists every day, and the danger is always that we fall a little too closely to their traps and become a pawn on their human chess board.
Why do people fall into their traps?
Their kindness is a trap

Because we believe they are good people.
We believe they see the good in us, and we want to see the good in them.
During this time, the victim remembers the person they initially met. The kind, charming, smiling and warm person who cared and listened.
Then they spend the rest of the relationship hoping that person will magically return.
They give zero f’s about you

Tell me something, what do you think of when you think about how the narcissist treats you?
I don’t want you just to pluck out the fragmented, very rare good stuff that makes you feel on top of the world, I mean the day to day.
Take yourself to a random moment, and think about how you feel in it. The time they forgot you had that important meeting or interview.
The day they decided to use your favorite book as a coaster and spill their coffee all over it before laughing and telling you, “It’s just a dumb book, stop being so dramatic.”
Or the time they told you they were too busy when you asked for a hug after a difficult day.
What do all those things equate to?
They equate to somebody truthfully not caring about you a single bit. The opportunity is there, right in front of them, to do good and be good, but they fail, because they don’t care.
To them, you’re nothing but supply. They extract your finite energy and use it to make themselves feel better, leaving you with nothing.
You’re a puppet to control until you are drained dry.
That’s not because you’re with somebody who is sick, it’s because you’re with somebody who is downright evil.
They don’t love, they exploit

Think about how much they gaslight you and exploit you for everything you’ve got.
The way they love-bomb you when they think they’re losing you. As you watch your good nature, your love and energy float right out of the door and down the hill, the narcissist is just happy to have somebody who will tolerate it all.
This exploitation is a hard pill to swallow. Why would anybody purposely go out to do this to somebody, especially when they will argue and defend their opinion that they love you and care about you?
They aren’t confused, they’re predators

This is what it all boils down to. How a narcissist treats you isn’t down to a confusing aspect of their character. They aren’t unsure, or feeling a little off color.
They are predators; hunting out the kind of people they can directly use and abuse and they know they’re doing it.
Make no mistake, they treat you like you were placed before them ready to wear down and throw away.
They enjoy watching you burn

Piece by piece, a narcissist will erase you. The person you were born as, and all the characteristics that made you you, are going to be lost in a sea of anguish.
As the old you burns and makes way for a meek, mild, agreeable, anxious new you, the narcissist will enjoy watching what they have carved out start to come to fruition.
No sick person I know would do this. No person unwell would dream of wanting that for the people they supposedly choose to be in their life.
That’s why narcissists are pure evil, and they stop at nothing.
Stop excusing them… do THIS instead

Sick people heal, right? Eventually they get better. Narcissists never get better.
I cannot stress this enough. No matter what lies they feed you about promising to change or do better, nothing remotely different occurs.
There is one thing you do owe yourself though, and that’s a life. You’re already breathing and living it, but not in a way that aligns with your purpose.
That’s impossible all the while you’re still with a narcissist, but trust me, things can change, and you can find yourself.
Go and live your life to the fullest, and push back anybody’s attempts to stop you from doing so.
You owe it to yourself to do the right thing and see narcissists as the truly evil that walk among us.
There is no ‘sick’ involved here, just the appetite by them to cause as much damage as possible.
